The Solution for High-Precision Gasket Sheets made from Non-Asbestos Material

TROESTER Gasket Sheet Calenders were developed for the manufacture of non-asbestos automotive and industrial gaskets. Sheet thickness ranging from 0.3 - 6.0 mm, with tight tolerances of ± 3% (and better), can be produced.
The standard machine sizes produce sheets measuring 4,500 x 1,500 mm and 3,000 x 1,500 mm. These sizes allow standard sheet measuring 1,5 x 1,5 metres or 60 x 60 Inch to be manufactured.

The product thickness is continually measured and digitally displayed. The measuring apparatus is also automatically calibrated before every production cycle.

* The arrangement of rolls to one another, at an angle of 30 to the horizont, produces good accessibility
   when feeding the calender and also assists the material intake process.
* Peripheral drilled holes in the heating roll ensure constant and even temperature control by the heating water
  (temperature accuracy ± 1K).
* Hydraulic positioning of the cold roll for line pressures of 350 - 3,000 N/cm (equivalent to 60 - 500 kN contact
  pressure).
* Automatic roll bending compensates for roll deflection.
* Individual roll drives with automatic synchronization compensation or the selected friction ratio.
* Continuous monitoring of product thickness during the production process (from 0 mm).
* Central programmable controllers regulate the roll drives, nip pressure, and roll bending amongst other process
  parameters. The calender is fitted with a monitoring system. Printed reports, error messages and operating
  instructions via a text display are all options.
