TWire.gif (1971 bytes) WIRE & CABLE

Long-known, now well thought-out: In collaboration with the Swiss cable manufacturer STUDER the one-step procedure has been developed to a Silan-Group.jpg (28032 bytes) stable and economic process. The jointly achieved solutions can be rendered as know-how to customers exclusively by TROESTER.

The know-how starts with the choice of suitable materials and ends with the cross-linking. With this technology high-quality medium voltage cores of up to 36 kV can be produced in a controlled manner over a long production period.

The use of the TROESTER TS-barrier screw with round barrier flights ensures a constant grafting and thus constant cross-linking over the entire speed range.

Depending on the demands and wishes of the cable manufacturer, in the production of medium-voltage cores the one-step technology can be applied for all three layers. The equipment allows the alternative use of all material variants, such as sioplas and copolymers.

Main advantages of the :

  • Extruders with high throughput, optimally matched to the process-specific demands of the one-step procedure.
  • Modern material management system (storage, drying, conveying and precise feeding of all materials).
  • Triple cross head, well proven in hundreds of CV lines and silane lines, achieving excellent core tolerances, with possibility of conductor pre-heating.
  • Reduction of breakdown/standstill times and costs.
  • Improvements in form of shorter cycle and resetting times as well as higher product quality.
