Depending
on customer requirements or the technical demands the winders can
either be designed as floor-traversing (type TABA/TAFA) or portal
traversing (type HABA/HAFA) models. Based on many years of
experience in machinery design, TROESTER has paid particular
attention to ease of use for the operating personnel. The winders
have been designed to move (incl. the clamped cable drum) traversely
to the cable direction. Fast traverse speeds approaches up to max.
12 m/min. A digitally controlled traversing device with automatic
correction guarantees exact laying for take-up operation.
Easily replaceable pintles are employed
to accept the drum. The drum can be driven via carrier or alternatively
via friction wheel (the carrier position can be readjusted without the
use of tools, by indexing bolts). Spindles driven by A.C. servo motors
serve to raise and lower the drums. Even the width adjustment is motor
driven.
A dedicated programmable controller comes
as standard equipment with all TROESTER winders. All the data necessary
for the winding process is entered via a control panel situated in the
control cabinet of the winder.
It is standard practice for TROESTER to
equip all winder types, for drum sizes over 2,200 mm, with remote
control. This enables operating personnel to position themselves to view
the whole machine, thus facilitating optimal handling and observation
conditions. |
